Hi

I'm just about to buy a cage 30 inches across, 18 deep, 36 high. How many birds would you suggest.

Also the one I've already got, is 24 x 24 inches, and 56 high. What's your suggestion for that. Gypsy and Scruffy are in that at the moment, and they use it all, they go all over the cage, but I was just wondering what suggestions are for maximum. And which would be best to use if I could get all birds in one cage?

They say that the maximum is 4 inches on a perch per bird. Thats not much.

No, it's not is it? i can see fights happening at that spacing. I have ordered it, and I will see how they look in it! (Laughing out loud) I've decided to bring no more inside at the moment anyway, but Blobby might come in, but that's weeks away

I've got about 60 inches of perch for my budgies, but they are constantly fighting over the best spot

You can never spot perch fights They will always fight over where they want to sit no matter how many perchs you have in the cage or avairy .

Yes, Nathan, budgies can be nasty little so and so's can't they? I just figure that with a bit more room to move, then at least they can get out of each other's way. Nothing will ever stop a fight if they really want to, but I hope to limit the liklihood of it.

Budgies can be really nasty . You are right there Lin Nothing will ever stop a budgie from a fight . I have just got a new avairy due to hoping to double my Budgies .
