My aunties budgie is moulting quite heavily. The last few days he has been quite fluffed up when he sits on his perch. He eats fine, he plays and is normal, he's just fluffy.. She's worried that he's sick yet he's acting normal still. Have you guys noticed your birds just being more fluffed than usual when they are moulting? At $65+ for a visit it can get pretty pricey particularly if thats the only symptom. I'd just like to put her mind at ease

Sometimes Blinks sits like that but only if it's a bit cool and he fluffs his feathers over his toes or if he's really sleepy (he sits on one foot and a bit fluffy).
