Posted September 7, 200519 yr I don't have the exact measurements for my cage... but I was wondering how large a cage should be for two birds? The bird is made for two birds, but naturally stores cages are smaller. So any ideas?
September 7, 200519 yr no smaller than 60x32x57 (cm) but everyone will have their own standards. I am just giving you my opinion
September 8, 200519 yr well mine measures umm... 55.8cm length 45.72cm high 38.1cm width do you think it would be enough room? Edited September 8, 200519 yr by Azale
September 8, 200519 yr In my mind, a lot depends on how much flight time you give them, Birds that are stuck in their cage all the time need a much larger cage, than a bird like Gooby, who only goes in to sleep. So, think about how much time they will really spend in there, and then make your decision based on that
September 8, 200519 yr The biggest you can afford is best. 18x18x18 inches is the minimum for a single bird so preferably bigger for 2.
September 8, 200519 yr Well, I leave Nikko out all day, he just flies around my room then goes in for the night.
September 8, 200519 yr well i still recommend the size i said even just for one bird. there are days when i go out and leave Goobs in his cage or if i go on holiday etc. I would hate to think that Gooby didn't have room to flap about
September 9, 200519 yr If you are going have both flying around all day, than yours is fine for eating and sleeping.
