ive just candled the first of daisys eggs and there is no sighn of a chick inside. the egg was layed 4 days ago. with previouseggs it has been obvious by three days.

is this egg not fertile or could the chick have died as she didnt sit much for the first day and night.

any input welcome!

give the egg a couple of more days incase she started to sit late i normally check 4 days from the second egg but it could be either infertile or died straight away if she didnt sit properly

thanks hath, i'll give her more time, i'll wait now untill she has finished laying. she is sitting now so there should be some fertile eggs in there somewhere (Laughing out loud)
