We've got some really juicy melon here... can budgies eat it? I'm sure my two would love the taste...

yes, casper sometimes eats honey dew :) just obviously make sure there is no skin seeds or the horrible hard bit in the middle.

you betcha they can, watermelon is great for a hot summer day, its all water (Laughing out loud)

Great! It's honeydew we've got...

I'm on a diet so i got some, and i'm sure it'd be good for them to eat some melon instead of feasting on millet!

Whether or not they'll eat it is another matter... here goes!

good luck, i hope they love it :)

They're sort of looking at it as if to say... "what on EARTH is that thing invading our cage?" Sky looks sort of bemused...

Do they like it?

Blinks likes melon, he always steals mine!! :(Laughing out loud):

I'm going to try Microsoft Corporation ® fatty I'm only going to eat honey stick and you shall feed it to me or I shall starve on some tomorrow :(Laughing out loud):

My birds absolutely refuse to eat fruit. The only times fruit was eaten in the aviary was when I got 3 Ringnecks for xmas last year & when I had Bo my rainbow lorikeet.

Have they tried the melon yet?

My budgies love melon! Libbi will do almost anything for a peice of canteloupe
