August 26, 200519 yr That particular seller is really really good on prices. Those same cages in a pet store would be so much more (if they even carried them, I've never seen them in a store). But yeah, the price is unbelieveably good! Even their large parrot cages are really cheap.

I got mine at a show though. That site has really good prices though! 6 for a little bit more than the price of one where I got them!
August 27, 200519 yr Those same cages in a pet store would be so much more <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah they are Hath stay strong there will be something over there that the US can't have and it will be bigger and better and cheaper We can dream right

August 27, 200519 yr That stinks. I have three bird exclusive stores that are really nice within a 30 minute ride- but I guess I'm lucky!
August 27, 200519 yr hath, I wish I could get them to you somehow!! My boyfriend lives in London and he'll be here Wednesday um...if they weren't so huge I'd send a bunch back with him to ship to you. If only! I really like the purple ones. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Isn't that taking the long-distance relationship thing a bit far? P.S. I still want info/pics on the cages you want to sell. It is, definitely. It's been four years of it though so hopefully we won't have to do this distance thing for too much longer. I got an email saying the new cages should arrive next Thursday so once I get them set up and see how the budgies get along I'll get you pictures and details of the extras.
August 27, 200519 yr http://cgi.ebay.com/Extra-Large-Budgie-Cag...1QQcmdZViewItem Is this no good? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's a great cage. Long not high. August 27, 200519 yr terri they say "Breeding Cages" does this meen you are thinking about "Breeding"???? I don't think Eterri will fit in one of those cages Daz <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (Laughing out loud) Some day I might breed budgies (at least once) but I'm not in the position to do so right now. For now, I'll just put my non-breeding budgies in breeding cages. I like that they're really wide. Um... I should also clarify that I don't plan on "breeding" myself anytime soon. Children don't like me. Edited August 27, 200519 yr by eterri
August 27, 200519 yr wow I didn't look at the cost before !! That's the same over here for ONE! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hey nerwen, this place has cheap breeder cages starting from $20 and $10 postage: www.cagesandaviaries.com.au they are located in SEQld.
August 27, 200519 yr I think they call anything long & low a breeding cage. That's what I was looking for when I posted the e-Bay link. And, eterri, just because other kids don't like you is no reason not to have any. Consider your own kids your little private army.
August 27, 200519 yr She's right Eterri. besides, kids never like their own parents, because we keep saying no (that's the fun part!), but they always love us (they have to - it's in the rulebook!!!). Could you please post a picture of you in the breeding cage?

August 27, 200519 yr It's all just bribery, Morethanrubies. We bribe our birds with millet, and then pretend they love us, and we bribe our children with sugary treats, and then pretend they love us for us, instead of the fact that we are keepers of the treats. I'm happier in ignorance of all this, aren't you?
August 27, 200519 yr Oh, yes! And, since I have girls, there is a lot of manipulation, pouting, and other hysterics. Girls hold grudges. Boys just punch each other & the argument is over.
August 27, 200519 yr Your right there - I have 3 boys, and a constant supply of ice for bruises... But they get over it quicker than I do!
August 27, 200519 yr We have a "boo-boo bunny." It's a little washcloth twisted into a bunny-ish shape with a little pink ribbon & you put ice inside so it doesn't hurt your delicate girly skin.
September 7, 200519 yr Just a quick reply . I like the cages . They are called Flight cages . But mainly go under the term of carry cages or Vet cages . I dont like the wire. It is too thick and will cause DEATH . As it has done to me for ( made one die ) . As he got a injury from the cage and we got him to the vet and died in the hand of the vet . Does any Know the Brand that makes them ? . Cuase would'nt mind having a word with them .
September 7, 200519 yr Too thick? The bar spacing is 1/2" which is ideal for budgies but I'd love to hear more about what happened (and I'm very sorry that it did). I have my cages set up and so far I haven't seen anything dangerous about them but this is definitely worrying to hear.
