Posted August 11, 200519 yr Okay, when I got home from school this afternoon I went to feed my birds and what did I find in the feeder... Siegfrieda... and an egg. The breeding boxes haven`t been in the aviary for quite some time (mainly because it is winter) and I think that the weather is good enough now to put the boxes back in. What do I do????? Do I remove the egg from the feeder?? Where do I put it??? Will Siegfrieda still except it if I do???? I have a breeding cabinet if that I can put Siegfrieda and the father in. Write soon...
August 11, 200519 yr It depends on whether you want to breed or not. You could just shake the egg and throw it out and hope that she doesn't try again, it might help if you move the food dish aswell.

August 11, 200519 yr Well if you put a box in with them or moved them to a cage with one how ever you would do it and put the egg in side the box you may be lucky. Then it will be up to the hen to sit on it or kick it away.
