For a fortnight now my female has been spending most of the day inside the nest box. But there are no eggs and I havent actually seen them mate. They are both in condition, but I think the male has stopped feeding her. What's wrong?

Perhaps they don't like each other enough to breed.

How old are they? How much daylight do they have (artificial or otherwise)? What is their diet like? How long have they been a bonded pair? We need a little more information as there are any number of reasons why they haven't mated yet.

They are between 1 and 2 years old. They are out in the aviary and it's winter in Sydney right now so they get about 10 hours. They have been together since the start of the year. Right now her cere is a deep brown and his is bright blue.
