We got Joey ten days ago (he is fourteen weeks old) as company for Charlie as we lost SB.

 

When we got Joey he would fly around his cage as soon as you put your hand in the cage.

 

Today we have tried putting our hand in the cage holding millet and guess whose stomach got the better of him. Joey will now stand on our finger whilst we are holding the millet. Hope this gives encouragement to all new owners. As has been said before it takes a lot of patience and time for when they are ready.

 

Thank you to this forum as I have done a lot of reading on various matters and it is paying off.

 

Neither Charlie or Joey will touch fruit of veggies but I am still working on it. :grbud:
