Posted July 28, 200519 yr Isn't she pritty. This is want I think of a Rainbow when talking about the colour type. But that is becuase is the picture I learn with way back in my old childhood days
July 29, 200519 yr That is unusual...I've never seen a whitefaced blue with any yellow. It doesn't look right.
July 29, 200519 yr I think it's from a really old book Rainbow. So it's the ancestor of today's birds. Probably the ancestor of a white faced blue? And then they managed to breed out the yellow? Just talking out of my hat again
July 29, 200519 yr It does look like it was edited, doesn't it? There is even yellow around the eyes. Pass, have you ever seen a whiteface blue with yellow on the body? Edited July 29, 200519 yr by Rainbow
July 29, 200519 yr It looks like it has been splashed with yellow food colouring, :artist where the yellow has hit the blue it has turned it green and we all know what yellow and blue make
July 29, 200519 yr Author It looks like someone added the yellow with a marker or something! I don't think the picture in the book is authentic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (Laughing out loud) trust me the picture as not been tampered with at all. I can't of cuase talk about what happened to the picture before printed I've never seen one with a white head and yellow feathers else where either. As to the yellow in the eye, maybe the print was crappy??? But it couldn't affect that much of the picture.
July 29, 200519 yr Author :artist Oh Nerwen, I never meant that you tampered with it. I meant before or while printing. . :artist (Laughing out loud) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Teehee I know that
July 29, 200519 yr It looks like it has been attacked by a paint brush. Very interesting though. I like it.
July 30, 200519 yr Author Old! (Laughing out loud) I"m not at all sure but by the time i got it was when i was getting my first budgie around the age of 8 and he had moved on to Chooks ages ago.
August 21, 200519 yr That isnt a rainbow thats known as a bi-color (saw it in a breeders website so i dont know if its authentic) the budgie is one color on one side and in portions another color on the other side. its said that this color has dissapeared for a few years and is very very rare
August 22, 200519 yr I think someone played catch with an egg and she didn't catch it :wine <{POST_SNAPBACK}> (Laughing out loud) :(Laughing out loud):

Can you give us a link to that website? Mellow- mine is something called enjoy your parakeets-budgies. It's really small only like 30 pages to it.
