Isn't she pritty. This is want I think of a Rainbow when talking about the colour type. But that is becuase is the picture I learn with way back in my old childhood days

That is unusual...I've never seen a whitefaced blue with any yellow. It doesn't look right.

I think it's from a really old book Rainbow. So it's the ancestor of today's birds. Probably the ancestor of a white faced blue? And then they managed to breed out the yellow? Just talking out of my hat again

It does look like it was edited, doesn't it? There is even yellow around the eyes. Pass, have you ever seen a whiteface blue with yellow on the body?

It looks like it has been splashed with yellow food colouring, :artist where the yellow has hit the blue it has turned it green and we all know what yellow and blue make

It looks like someone added the yellow with a marker or something! I don't think the picture in the book is authentic.

I've never seen one with a white head and yellow feathers else where either.

 

As to the yellow in the eye, maybe the print was crappy??? But it couldn't affect that much of the picture.

That bird looks funny. It really looks like it's been dyed.

I just found that picture in my budgie book. It's a really old book though.

Yep really old book. I got it from my granddad!!!
