Posted July 25, 200520 yr Since we had to isolate Rainbow because of scaly face, and treating her, she has been doing very dark green runny poos. Not eating or drinking. Phoned the avian vet again and she said it was fretting for the other birds. But I wonder? Should I find another vet, or could it be that she is upset from being handled so much, (painting her face etc) and being in a smaller cage away from her friends. She is singing and dancing etc. But I do worry about that poo Cindy
July 27, 200520 yr It could be stress related. Do they look normal except for the increased urine? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes they were Rainbow. She has settled in now and her poo is back to normal. I know it was wrong, but I let Buster sit beside her cage, with some food also on the outside. After watching Buster eat it, Rainbow copied and started eating hers. She is now very chirpy. Cindy
July 27, 200520 yr Yeh Cindy, it was wrong. But I don't think anyone will blame you for it! I can understand how concerned you were. I probably would have done the same
