I use Germ-X (a quick-drying hand sanitizer) to sanitize my hands (almost compulsively, really) before handling my birds. I wanted to know if this was adequate, or if I should wash my hands with soap and water as well. :redalbino:

Use soap and water. My kids' pediatrician says plain dish soap & water is really all you need for any kind of hand washing. Cheaper, too!
