Well my baby birds have been in the nestbox for 13 the oldest and the oldest and second oldest seem to be collecting wet poop as the walk around and it has collected into a about 1 cm ball around mostly the bottom of their ankle and now i think its makeing them walk weird...how should i tajke it out its really stuck on and i don't wanna hurt the babies...

My last batch of babies got poop balls on their toes and ankles. Just gently pull it off, it's not as stuck as it seems.

okay thanks (Laughing out loud) i thinkt hat was the weird=est question ive ever asked.

if you pick them up everyday to clean their feet it gets them accustomed to being handled too.

nestbox should be cleaned every 2 or 3 days be very very carefull when pulling the poop of the feet you can pull claws of very easily use a damp cloth first to make it very soft

I tried doing it with the 2 oldest and it came out really easily thanks hath i hadn't thought of that and today I'm goning to put the babies on the bottom of the cage while i cean the nest box too much poop is accumulating!
