Posted July 9, 200519 yr My current cage is 18 inches by 18 inches by 36 inches high. I want to get them something that is a bit wider so they have more horizontal flying room. They love their cage a lot though, don't get me wrong. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod...8&N=2003+113268 Is this a good cage or should I not even bother at all?
July 9, 200519 yr looks really nice,I like the idea of the seed guard round it. Just double check that the bar spacing is not too big and that the door is big enough to allow you to get your hand in AND bring your hand out with a budgie on it! Julie
July 9, 200519 yr I have decided on another cage that a member on another board showed me. http://birdcages4less.com/page/B/PROD/A03/PA5719 There are platforms and ladders in it and it is a lot less expensive. I really like this one more than the first one I showed you guys and I think my guys will have more fun in there! Edited July 9, 200519 yr by Millimi

July 9, 200519 yr That's a good cage, they shouldn't have a problem with the vertical bars. Mine like to grip them and sliiiide down, it's fun to watch.
July 9, 200519 yr Mine slide down the bars too and they have no problem going back up. They actually don't like horizontal bars so that's good. I went ahead and ordered that cage, I can't wait until it gets here!
July 9, 200519 yr That looks just like the one I just bought but fancier since I didn't get platforms and ladders But I'm still happy. Sky look closely and there are horizontal brakes on the cage, so the budgies can't slide all the way from the top down. Your two will have a ball i'm sure.
July 10, 200519 yr i have seen a really nice parrot cage near me and it not that much money. it would be lovely for a cockatiel or conure. i really must stop looking at cages because i cant have any more birds
