Lucas is out of reach!

Hi, i have an adult male bird, lucas. :) And i want to transfer him to a smaller cage as he shares a BIG cage with a female friend, who will interfere with things. THe problem is that there is a certain part of the cage that is out of reach. So whenever i put my hand in, they both fly there, and i can't get them out. :D

I really want him to be tame, so can any-one help?

Thanks!

Isn't it annoying when that happens? I sometimes wonder who it is who actually designs these cages! Is there some way you could section off that bit of the cage with a bit of cardboard or something to get them out?

I guess so, but it'd be really hard to shoo him out of there to put in a piece of cardboard, and i have a net but i don't think i would want to use it on him.

Thanks for your suggestion! I'll try it and post later.

Thanks
