Just bought a new cage for my two budgies, Pete and Repeat, and it's a flight cage. Their old cage was big enough in terms of dimensions, but I had read over and over that long was better than tall and I got a really good deal on the cage.

 

They love it. I was surprised at how quickly they acclimated to it, since I was prepared for them to be a little quiet for at least a few hours. They have three perches and a swing, and most all their toys (we are rotating the toys, and they act like they have all new stuff when I exchange toys).

 

Pete in particular is flying back and forth from perch to perch, to the sides of the cage, and back again. You think they know it's a flight cage?

I love it when you change the toys ..as you say they think they are new!!!! :yellowhead:

I don't think they know it's a flight cage, they just know they've got room to fly.
