I've had this budgie for 2 years and he's never had anything like this. I woke up to check on him, and his eye was closed, swollen, and red. I already called my vet, and he said to flush his eye out w/ lukewarm water so he'd open it. 2 days have passed by, and it only looks redder, and when closed, it still looks swollen. any ideas on what is it?

could be conjunctivitus and washing it out wont really help as he will be rubbing his eye on the perch (leaving germs there) and making it evan worse he will need cream and his perchs washed as much as possible if it is

If I can purchase this cream, where can I get it? If not, are there any at home remedies until we take him to the vet?
