Is This Cage Suitable For One Budgie?

I have two budgies and I am trying to seperate them for training. They will be in different cages, but next to eachother. I have had one budgie for almost 3 years and another for around 6 months. I just bought this cage for a deal and everything looks good, except for the fact that the cage is circular and fairly tall.
