Hi, I just wanted to add a post to help other owners. My male budgie aged 2.5 years has a paralysed leg. Took him to the vet and it’s probably testicular cancer although it could be kidney cancer. Treatment if it’s testicular cancer is around $400 including diagnosing him with an x-ray. Treatment is an implant that would probably extend his life by 12 months. I’m in two minds about treatment. His quality of life is pretty poor right now and if the treatment didn’t improve this then it would be cruel to keep him alive for another year.
