Hi There, Everyone!

I have owned budgies in the past, but had to give them to my parents when my ex and I broke up a few years ago.

I am now happy married (to someone else, obviously) and just today purchased my first new girl! (terrible photo, but Violet Pied?)

I will be picking up a friend for her and a new flight cage, on Monday!
I can not wait to decorate the cage! lol

I also own and breed pet rats, have two Staffy X Kelpie Dogs and 4 cats :)

No, they won't need a box. If you hang one in there it is like a big red sign saying "I want you to have baby's" ;)

Do not put a box in until your girl is more than a year old. She will die of egg binding. Try to love your birds and not breed. Breeding demands a lot of attention and if you are not retired I would not advise it. Temember to give your girl a cuttlebone for Calcium and fresh veg and fruit. Swiss chard/ spinach is a favorite; Corn on cob and Apple. enjoy!
