Hi this is my first budgie Elsa.. she is very dear to my family and ive been abit concerned lately as she is losing feathers on top of her beak. We keep her in doors. Can anyone advise what this is and the best way to treat it.

Has she moulted normally before?

Mine have sometimes gotten patchy above the beak during a moult and then a couple of days later the pin feathers show up. Is she moulting?
