Our pair have recently bred. There were 7 eggs laid, 5 have now hatched. All is going well however over the last 2 days the female has been fighting the male. She will attack him to the point of them rolling on the bottom of the cage fighting.

Just wondering why she might be doing this? Is it normal and what should we do about it?

We cleaned the nesting box today and found 1 deceased budgie. Looked only a day or two old. Since we removed it the two parents have been getting along fine again.

I wonder if the females behaviour had something to do with the dead baby budgie?

Does anyone have any insight?

That's not a normal thing to happen, it's a good thing that they have both calmed down.

A dead baby doesn't normally cause a problem between a pair, I would keep an eye on them and they may need to be separated if the problem arises again.
