January 14, 201510 yr Author No. He's five months old and not yet had his first moult. You can see he still has forehead banding if you look at him in person but it's very faint unlike his sister Asha. His iris currently is a normal grey color. As are most of my babies. Some are going white now as the weeks go by of course. Aurora is looking shocking at the moment as she's moulting. Edited January 14, 201510 yr by Laura's Birds
January 14, 201510 yr I think he could be a DF Dom pied, if he gains an iris ring and has a fleshy colored beak I would go with DF dom.
January 14, 201510 yr Author His cere hasn't got any blue on it even at this age while all my other males that have dark factors have 'coloured up' I suppose you could say. The iris ring does look the same as my babies that did eventually go white, but I'll keep an eye on it. If his cere goes blue or his eyes stay dark what would that mean?
January 14, 201510 yr If the eyes don't get an iris ring that would suggest recessive pied, if the beak goes blue that would most likely mean just dom pied. I'm pretty certain it is a double factor. January 14, 201510 yr Author I have spent probably a weeks worth of hours on that site looking at all the mutations
