So I've seen people feeding their birds beetroot so I know its safe, but I'm just wondering, when you feed them the beetroot do you give them the leaves as well? I've not seen anything that says they are toxic so I am assuming they are safe but I'm just interested to find out how people feed it to them.

Yes, you can give the beet greens as well as the root. I'm pretty sure that any greens that people eat, birds can eat too.
