Posted May 16, 201411 yr Hey everybudgie! I had been to this site a couple of times, but only thought to get an account today. I have had budgies since I was 8 and I recently bred two of my pairs, and hope to breed more later. I love genetics (which I'm majoring in), and budgies have so many different colour and marking combinations, the outcomes are always gorgeous! I have 14 budgies in my walk-in aviary that I built last summer (out of safe wood and stainless steel mesh), and the chicks of my two pairs in two other large cages. I also have a cockatiel (named Coco) and a Senegal parrot (named Loki). I can't wait to learn even more about budgies!
