Posted April 6, 201411 yr How do you get a duster? I would love 2 of those!!! All your birds are gorgeous! I'm uploading photos to my Breeding journal tomorrow hopefully if people will allow me to do something for myself instead of attending to their needs. I think I might have a Lacewing- Is this a Lacewing???? her mom was an Albino and the Dad a normal showbudgie yellow and olive green here's Mom and Dad
April 6, 201411 yr How do you get a duster? Feather dusters usually don't survive for long and the parents that produce them are usually not bred together again. I am not 100% sure but i think the parents carry a deficiency and that's why they are produced, could be wrong with that. Is this a Lacewing? This isn't a lacewing, it is a cinnamon. A lacewing would either be pure white or pure yellow with brown wing markings. Thanks
April 6, 201411 yr Author Thank u so much4 info now at least I know I hav a cinnamon! Presume a show budgie+ a feather r also completely different things... Aha I get it. Thought dusters were bred for shows.
April 6, 201411 yr Author I have an English Budgie. He was obviously a rejected show budgie but he's in tip top form again as him and his Albino female are resting for a few months.put on weight after babies. He's eyes can almost not be seen from the high forehead and feathers, he's larger than American budgies. He has amazing feathers and colours around the crop- like little fans, his 1 daughter Powder has the look too. Maybe I will get a duster 1 day,who knows.
