I Need Some Advice

I'm new to breeding budgies and my three female budgies have laid about seventeen eggs and as far as I can see all of them have babies growing inside them. All the eggs won't hatch right?Or can I expect a lot of baby budgies soon? (not that I wouldn't want that many baby budgies)

Another thing. Two of the females are sharing a nesting box (even though there are eight nesting boxes in the cage) and I just figured I'd ask if anyone else has had that happen to them? I'm not worried about one female killing the other females babies since they have already hatched three babies when they were laying eggs before while sharing the same nesting box.

Hi, if your eggs are fertile there is no reason to think they won't hatch l.o.l. I'd say you could be in for a chick explosion shortly.

Is it 17 eggs between 3 hens? are they all being incubated by all the hens or are only some hens sitting?

I have had clutch's of 9 chicks to a pair. if you are colony breeding are your Cock birds staying with each hen? otherwise it will be hard for hens to rare the chicks without help.

The nest sharing hens could be o.k if they have done it before, I have heard of it but I cage my pairs to save hassles, so haven't had any experience with nest sharers.

I only had one clutch of eggs and all hatched.
