Hi,

I not long brought my baby boy home, what a joy he has brought to this place.

He became comfortable with me pretty quickly, was hand feeding him millet. He chirps and sings when I come in the room.

When I leave for work I leave soft music on going so he doesn't feel alone.

His cage is full of interesting toys.

He likes to be close and preens himself near me.

His wings are clipped now. So he was just sitting with me on my knee. He was falling asleep and preening away.

I didn't want to leave him alone tonight. I wasn't sure if I needed to watch him after he had his wings clipped. I was most likely going overboard but I couldn't help it.

My little boys name is Chip. I thought it should be easy enough to say if he was going to talk.

I will put up picks when I figure all that out.

Hey XT sounds like you have been sucked in by the budgie bug.

Would be good to see pictures, so he is a young budgie?

Hi welcome, Chip should be fine with clipped wings if they were done correctly, no bleeding etc e.g.. Even with clipped wings I would keep him in his cage if no-one is with him, not let him loose on his own as they can get into all sorts of trouble not supervised. Sounds like a lovely pet.

is Chip always sleeping?

Hope not that could mean sick chippy.

Has chip got red eyes? he could be lutino or if black double factor spangle.

You seem to be doing a good job. He is rather tame, that is very nice. :)
