Looking for one or more black eyed selfs to be able to breed this variety.

 

Am happy to travel up to 3 hours from the Brisbane and Gold Coast area for the right birds.

Might be worth seeing if they will air freight them to your nearest airport. Be generous, the Melbourne branch of Australian Air Express is a long drive from Pakenham.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've been caught out before buying sight unseen.

 

I also think that sometimes the stress of the transport can trigger things in the bird that normally they would be able to kick health-wise.
