Just Joined, Saw 3 Eggs In Cage. Need Help

Featured Replies

Hello all, I have 3 budgies I love them so much.

2 female 1 male.

I saw 3 eggs in the cage today, I am very worried I dont want to do something wrong.

Im scared if they are broken , she was sitting on 2 and the other one was a bit far.

Would the other female get jealous and break the eggs?

Do I attach nest box or anything?

Please help I want to care for them being aware of what Im doing.

Thanks in advance,

Hoping to form good friendships with other budgie lovers here !

Esra

discard the eggs. if the you wanna breed go have a read about then start breeding.

Breeding is a helluva. Task. If u fail its extremely dissappointing. When yOur budgies die, its heartbreaking! Too many things can go wrong as L_J said. Maybe best tO discard+ keep the birds u have. Females fight for a male+ become quite destructive.how old r yor budgies?

next time you breed, just remember to not colony breed if you are (which is having alot of sexes of budgies in the same cage). agree with L__J
