My Birds

Hi all,

I haven't posted images of my birds for a while and I have added a few new ones since last time so I thought I would post some pictures of them. I have a around 20 budgies and also 3 cockatiels that live in the same aviary. The cockatiels are fine with the budgies and one of them helps some of the females with incubating the eggs and raising the chicks which is a bit of a surprise.

So here are my birds, they are just the normal pet birds.

As you can see this one enjoys her carrot. She's a young albino lacewing.

Would you think the female on the left would be a golden face? when she was younger she was completely blue witha yellow face and now she is a sea foam green.

You can't see it to clear here, but this lutino female is actually another lacewing.

I believe the blue on the left is a grey wing and the blue on the right is a spangle, can anyone confirm this?

Does anyone know his mutation?

Here are my three cockatiels, 2 are normals and one is a white face.

Thanks for looking, if anyone knows any of there mutations please feel free to let me know.

Hi BUDGIE LO3ER,

I would be interested to know what some of your budgies are also. Is that a cobalt in the 7th photo down? Is that his boy in the same photo?

The blue on them is very eye-catchingly beautiful!

Are the Lacewing and the green budgie you're asking about related at all?

Some beautiful birds there Budgie lov3r, I can't help much with mutations but I'd say your right with the grey wing and spangle. I love the green & gold pieds, little aussie's I call them. I have just managed to breed a couple again, I lost the Mum who used to breed them, now a g.daughter of hers has bred a few, even though she was a lousy Mum, I fostered her eggs but she was better the next round she had.

Hi,

Yes the blue is pretty nice on both of them, I dont really have a clue if they cobalt, I always thought they were violets. No they are not related, the pied one I have never bred with as he is to old, but the other one I have had several clutches from with beautiful babies.

Are you reffering to the two below? If you are they are not related, I bred the lacewing myself and have recently purchased the male.

That's unlucky you lost the mum, I have bred quite a few of them over the past.

Thanks
