Posted June 27, 201311 yr hello friends, I'm from Brazil and I'm using a translator to escrver here. Sorry if I'm not easy to understand. I wonder if the parakeets are protected by any law in Australian territory. Is there any ban for anyone who is creating these birds of australia?
June 28, 201311 yr Hi Pernambuquitos, There is no ban on keeping budgerigars in Australia. No license is required to keep budgerigars under any Australian law that I am aware of. Regards
June 29, 201311 yr Not unless you are harming them, or keeping them in a inappropriate environment, if this was to happen and the RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) found out, well I am sure you could get a warning / fines etc. Um, also I kind of interpreted your question into, is the budgie protected in the wild. If so I am pretty sure they are not endangered, and they flourish through the desert. Edited June 29, 201311 yr by Budgie_Mad
