The hen is a Dark Green, Violet, Dominant Pied, Opaline, Split Blue and Grey wing and the cock is a Sky Blue, Single Factor Violet, Grey wing, Combination Pied. Any help would be greatly appreciated! May 27, 201312 yr Well, i am no expert on mutations so I am not going to guess, They baby looks like however it will be very interesting colours. Not many people seem to be on at the moment, so my best advice is to just wait until, the baby is grown and then you can tell for certain.
May 28, 201312 yr Hi it looks like a violet dark green, it may also be greywing you will have to wait until it is a bit older. Cheers Jenny
June 3, 201312 yr Author Thanks everyone for your help! The baby is almost fully feathered so it should be easier to see his mutation. Here are some pictures from today! I was thinking he might be a dark green normal, grey wing? But I'm not sure!! Sorry the Pictures aren't the best he is constantly moving, so they turn out blurry!
June 6, 201312 yr Hi it is a bit of a tough one the markings do look diluted but the tail feathers are dark but it may be the influence of the violet factor. You may have to see how it moults out. Cheers Jenny
June 6, 201312 yr don't go selling this budgie yet. I am stumped on this one. Like Jenny says let her moult out.
June 6, 201312 yr Author Thank you guys for the help. I defiantly will be keeping her. Her color seems diluted on her chest but not on her rump or tail.
June 6, 201312 yr Author Here are some more pics of the chick in question! Compared to a normal and grey wing chick: And by herself: http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb335/LGraceC/P1220633_zps6234319f.jpg' alt='P1220633_zps6234319f.jpg'> And the normal black markings: Sorry if that was to many pictures!
