Looking good, pics are pretty clear, looks like you have a red eyed baby there.

Hope things keep going well.

Cheers Jenny

Yes there is a red eyed one, that's how I tell the twins apart ones black, ones red.

okay, as I mentioned, in a comment on the other topics, my 4th baby chick died, But the other female (Lilly), has started laying a new clutch. she kicked her other eggs out, and I tried incubating them but it was not successful, should I try and let her sit on them again, or do it myself?

I would let her sit on them, just make sure you keep your eye on her without disterbing her too much.

Good luck.

If she kicked her last clutch out maybe they weren't fertile. If she has a new clutch of eggs, keep an eye on whether she is incubating them or not. Do you have another hen you can foster the eggs with if she doesn't sit? The foster hen would have to have eggs as well.

Yes, well she has kicked them out again. The other eggs seemed to be fertile when I kindled them at 8 days, but yeah. I have a hen that has babies, and two that haven't laid yet and are looking promising but, I doubt they would sit on them. I have put the egg with the female with babies with a hope it will hatch, do you think that that is a bad idea if the eggs of the fosterer have already hatched. They would be about 19 - 14 days old roughly.

19-14 days being the babies of the foster parents. They have already hatched.

I red bacteria invades cracked egg but u can fix it with non toxic varnish or glue????

well its too late now it has been cracked even more, she has not kicked out her 2nd and third egg though, it might be that I was checking it before and now I haven't she is keeping them.
