Hi All, wondering if anyone can give me advice of possible sex of two new babies, first is 15 days old and second is 13 days old, pics hopefully attached. Dad is a opaline grey & mum a spangle opaline grey. 15 day old looks like dad and 13 day old looks like a albino. your albino has to be a hen as its a sex linked gene and passed father to daughter since Mum isnt albino. Makes dad split albino

thanks Kaz & Vargur. Previous three chicks were Albino (one did not survive), a hen (Hedwig) that I kept & the other (Milkshake) I gave my sister who tells me it is now talking. I thought that as an Albino it also had to be a hen, hoping to get photo's to post re sex ID, I have heard that hens can talk ? but not that common, any advice on this ? thanks

Hens can talk...there are a few on you tube ( ignore the recessive pied they say is a hen but is a cock ) ........the fact that everyone says hens cant talk is why noone usually bothers to try and encourage them too
