Hi Everyone,

I'm so glad I found this forum! It seems like there is a whole lot of knowledge and experience here.

I'm from the mid-north coast of NSW and I work for the RSPCA part time and also study medical radiation science at Uni full time! I bred budgies many years ago as a kid and we had a young stray male brought into work and I adopted him. His name is Mick Fanning. I tried for a month or so to finger tame him and whilst he submitted to being handled he didn't really seem to enjoy it, so the saga to arrange his marriage began. I finally chose a beautiful blonde cutie I named Steph Gilmore and after a few days in separate cages they have moved in together. I'm hoping for some advice though as I think Steph could actually be a Stephen.... I'll post pics in another thread.

Looking forward to meeting you all :)

Erin
