Hi everyone!

My name is Cathy, I'm 41 and from Canberra. I have just recently bought 4 club rung budgies and a big cage for them all.

I have had budgies on and off all my life. When I was 5 my first pet was a yellow budgie called Sunny. I had 4 budgies as a teenager, they never had babies despite a nest box and good size cage. I would like to breed my budgies, but they don't even seem interested in each other yet LOL. I guess it takes time. Maybe I should put 2 of them in a breeding cage?

My budgies are called; Sunny, Stormy, Skylar and Snowdrop.

Cheers

Cathy

Welcome. I don't know how you would go this time of year in Canberra. Depends on your set up. It will take them time to settle n to thir new home. Are they all from the same breeder? You may be able to find out their background as to parents mutations etc from him/her. That may help when pairing them up so you don't breed siblings together e.g. :)

It took me a long time to get my first pair, 2-3 years. =(. however I finally got my first chicks last month, I hope that your budgies will produce soon.

Hi Cathy and welcome. I note noone ahs asked the age of your budgies so advice about breeding needs a few more detials such as age and condition. Until that info is forthcoming noone should be advising about breeding them :)

Welcome to the forum and hello :) Good luck with getting your budgies to breed :)
