Thought I would help you out. they look very sweet.

L__J, thank you for helping with the photos. :)

By the way, in Photobucket, click on the button for "direct link", it should say "copied" when you do that. Then on here in your post, click on the icon for inserting an image. (That's the tiny square with a picture of a tree that you need a huge magnifying lens to tell that it's a tree.) Then right click in the window to paste the direct link, hit the okay (or is it "Add photo"?), and your picture should appear in your post.

Budgie_Mad, have you tried to do this? If you can get the links to post, then there is no reason why you can't get the actual photos to post.

Your chicks are coming along nicely. They get their yellow face gene from their dad, the creamino, because creamino means yellowface albino.

Hi B_M by "flights" I mean the longest wing feathers.

Hello Robyn, yes the flights appear white but only a little.

okay, well I have finally made some breeding cabinets/cages, there are only two and made out of an old cage I needed to move somewhere else so I created it into the cabinet/cage, it worked well, I will try to get some photos tomorrow, and sorry they are still going to be links. They are fairly large .75m long and .45m wide and about .40m high, I separated the cage in to two by placing a ply board through the middle and put it on supports, their are two pairs in the cages and one pair in the aviary, however only one still has babies, however the pair out of the cage and in the aviary appear to have egg bum! The last pair are my Bush Budgies! they are preening and always together however no mating noticed yet and no eggs, either (obviously). Look forward to getting more soon and can't wait for the two current babies to fledge the nest, (even though the oldest is often out and youngest is occasionally out as well).

Well, that is the end of my breeding for a while (until the later part of the year). The two babies I got have all fledged and get along with all the others. I am maybe planning on getting some finches and breeding them in one of the breeding cages, would budgies attack them? if they do I would just leave hem in that one cage and sell them, and wait a while before breeding them again, until I can have a breeding room not a aviary. That seems like all I have to say, thanks for helping me on the way everyone, and I enjoyed doing updates.

I just wanted to thank you for the photos Budgie_Mad. When you mentioned you bred a violet to a cream - ino I was very curious how the young turned out.

Hi Budgie_Mad, I tried to 'Like This' and got this message. "You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day."

I have no idea what this means. Do you?

I am going to the link you mentioned. Thanks.

hi amum4children, it means that you have either liked another post or you have done something I would have no idea about, you can only like 1 post per day I believe. How do I know, happened to me.
