April 16, 201312 yr Author yeah I built a frame at the bottom of my cage and put wire mesh on the bottom of it. So after making the frame I flipped it over and put a layer of plastic then a layer of mesh. then a layer of plastic. then covered it with pine needles as my floor, poo sticks to the pine needles. budgies don't even wanna chew on anything...

April 21, 201312 yr OMG! they are soooooooo cute! i wish i had those cuties! cant wait until mine breed, but all shows good, i saw them mating today (finally........... skye let him!) dj has gone mad!! because i gave him millet (weekly treat) and even ate the grass on the seeded grass stick i think i should give them more food also one looks (mr teddies spangle) looks as if it has blue dominant pied wings i think thats how you say it! goodluck elle
April 21, 201312 yr Author Miss Teddies a sky blue spangle. Mr Teddies a Cobalt Dominate Pied. I can see that these 2 budgies will be spangles.

April 23, 201312 yr Hi L_J, your white baby may be a double factor spangle. Mr Teddy may be spangle as it is hard to tell with his wings as his markings are indistinct. Does the baby seem to be all white? Cheers Jenny

April 30, 201312 yr Author Hey guys little bit of a update with some photos. I took tilly and bart out of the aviary with their chicks and put them in a cage above apples.
