Hey all,

 

Doh! I didn't realise they were the same tree!! lol I don't have a large enough yard to grow these (I could try keeping one in a pot for the aviary) but luckily our whole street is lined with a variety of gum trees and I'm sure several of this particular type there.

Hi Heletia, if you look at top left of page you will see F.A.Q. if you go to FOOD AND NUTRITION you will find TOXIC AND NON TOXIC plants. a-z.

on those lists it will tell you the plants that are safe for your birds. :)

Thanks Robyn. Oops I know they are safe that's why I added it - but I neglected to say so, sorry. I wasn't actually asking if it was. Perhaps I posted this in the wrong place as it was just meant as a general chat. There is no delete button for me to be able to remove it myself.
