I try to feed my budgies lots of fruit and veg but all they seem to like is corn. I put corn in a container with different fruit and veg but they just throw the other pieces out and eat corn. What are some fruit and veg that budgies really like and what can they be fed?

apple mango letace spinich beatroot strawberries ect just find what they like and get rid of the things they dont

Mine like and get Spinach, Corn, Beetroot and Broccoli.

 

Just not too much beetroot, and remember the staining - it can shock you the first time you see it if you forget you gave them beetroot

Hi if you check out the safe and unsafe foods in q.a.q. it will list the safe fruit and veg. but you have to keep trying with them, they don't take it first go.

Try some red chillies (yes the hot ones, they don't feel the heat like we do :-) ) and if you have access to an Agonis Flexuosa somewhere (weeping tree, long narrow leaves that smell of peppermint, my birds go crazy over the stuff ;-) ) In Perth that tree is found in lots of suburbs on verges, I do give my branches a good soak in water and apple cider vinegar and then rinse really well though just to be sure
