My budgie keeps trying to bathe in his food dish which has some broc and carrot in it. it did have water in it for few days, as i was getting a replacment for his water feeder.

 

Should i put a bathing dish in the cage for him or wait til the weather warms up?? and how often should a budgie bathe??

Hi Why not treat your bird to a proper cage bird bath less mess & wont tip up.

 

As long as your birds indoors he can bath as often as he wants, if you let him.

Birds love to bathe. Mine try to bathe in the spinach during winter, but in summer I put a dish in the aviaiy with about an inch of water. they love it.
