June 23, 201212 yr Hello. Can't get your link to work. Why not just give us the measurements? Yours B.J.

June 23, 201212 yr Putting the perches from the wire to the wall, a few up the far end and some back towards the door would help, having the one branch in there doesn't really give them much room to fly from perch to perch if you are looking into getting more budgies.
June 23, 201212 yr Hi Got to agree with post above. I reckon 4 pairs of birds max as permanent residents. Supply 7 or 8 nest boxes all at same hight as far apart as poss. Any chicks born should be removed as soon as weaned.. Pictures okay
June 23, 201212 yr Author okay so more perches (i will do that when i take the front of) and so 4 pairs max with 7 or 8 nestboxes and chicks removed when they have weaned allright any thing else thx and is there a reason i have to take out the baby budgies Edited June 23, 201212 yr by funkypanda
June 24, 201212 yr six birds no nestboxes...as that is then colony breeding....you can barely access the box you have. ow okay the measurements are 1200 high 1500 wide 6000 deep your measurements are wrong

Re baby budgies. Any babies will add to the total number of birds in your aviary. If you have 4 breeding pairs & each pair has say 4 babies. The hens will want to lay their second clutch & won't want 16 inquisitive chick hanging about in the aviary. Your total number of birds now will be 24. If you do as well 2nd round, your total number of birds will 40. If you don't remove the chicks. You will end up with dead birds.okay.....Yours B.J Edited June 24, 201212 yr by Bird Junky
