Posted June 21, 201213 yr Hello. I have 2 budgies. I think the blue one is male and the white is female. I`m colorblind so i canot tell after the cere. Somebody told me that the blue one has something wrong with its cere. Can somebody tell me the gender and if there is something wrong with the blue one`s cere? They are 1year-10 months old
June 21, 201213 yr You have their genders backwards. The blue one is female, and the white one is male. I don't see anything obviously wrong with the blue one's cere, but the photo is blurry. What did they think was the problem?

What did they think was the problem? The blue one tries to mate i think with the white. He puts his leg on the white one and and bends his tail at the white ones vent. June 21, 201213 yr I agree with Finnie. The Blue one is female and White male. Sometimes some of my young females will carry on like males and try to mate with their rope swing. Edited June 21, 201213 yr by A'SHAAR
