Im a 29 year old female who didnt know much about budgies until a few years ago, thou Ive had my latest budgies for almost 4 years now. My boyfriend has become a budgie lover too, so we are both reading and writing here.

Ive had heaps of health problems with my 6 budgies, have lost 2 of them recently in blood cancer, and my youngest male has been shown to have blood cancer when we did tests. Thats how i found this forum, thru google search about information. Right now its extremely tough on me emotionally to even having my little feathered friends cause i dont know how their health will progress, if I´ll lose another one soon..

But i can post pics of all 6 that I´ve had.

Ocean, who showed cancer in his blood a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you. They bought bought in different stores in Stockholm, two of them from different suppliers, from personal homes. So its not that...

At first we thought it was something wrong with my flat that made them very sick, like radon, I´ll never know if there was radon in my flat. I moved a week ago. After research about leukemia we suspect the air purifier and air humidifier both are ionising, that I bought FOR my birds earlier. Like radion thats been cause their bloodcancers. I dont use them since a week ago.
