Hi, Im just starting out, I have a purchased a few budgies, and not real sure what mutation they are, as i have been told different things. If someone could tell me exactly what they are , including colour etc i would be grateful

I have been told is a sky blue recessive pied, but from what I can work out I think its a double factor Dominant pied ??

Sky Blue texas body ? amything else ?

Yellow face type 1 or 2 ? Dominate pied ? also been told different blue type

 

 

 

Please help to clarify, im so confused

Bird number 1 looks like a double factor dominant pied. Check for iris rings. Recessive pieds have a solid black eye and dominant pieds have iris rings.

Bird number 2 is also opaline. bird number 3 looks cobalt from the picture. Quite a pretty bird with this combination..

1- Could be a DF Dominant Pied. As above, check for iris rings (though she is obviously young). No iris rings means Recessive Pied, one or both eyes with a white iris means double factor Dominant Pied. As she's young you may have to wait a few months to make sure.

 

2- Skyblue Opaline Texas Clearbody

 

3- Cobalt Yellowface Dominant Pied
