Posted February 29, 201213 yr I live in Canada and was watching a Canadian T.V. station, and saw a commercial to visit Australia. Please don't take this the wrong way for people that live in Australia, but it seemed odd to see a commercial to visit a place that is on the other side of the world. I seen commercials to visit Las Vegas or California and they don't seem to phase me at all, but when I saw the Australian commercial it kind of through me off. I was wondering if anyone saw any visit Canada commercials outside of North America?
February 29, 201213 yr I'm always seeing commercials to visit other countries, its just a strategy they use to boost tourism in different places. I can't say that I've seen one specifically for Canada lately, but I'm sure I have in the past at some time or another
February 29, 201213 yr We get radio commercials here advertising to visit Banff. But that's not too surprising, because of our close proximity to Canada. Maybe I just remember that commercial because my brother has been to Banff, and he loved it.
February 29, 201213 yr Author @Bird Junkie: Yes i have changed channels. It just throw me off. It's not every day I see a commercial to visit a place out side North America.
