Is Blueberry Ash a safe tree for budgies? Including branches, leaves, flowers and fruit.

Does anyone know if any/all of those above are safe?

Thanks!

Hi usually if a fruit is safe to eat then the rest of the tree should be okay.

I'm assuming that your referring to the edible Blueberries. Yours B.J.laugh.gif

That's a pretty comprehensive list...I didn't see blueberry ash however. Anyone have any experience as to its safety/lack thereof?

Hi . Well I did say , "USUALLY".huh.gifhappy.gifohmy.gifwink.giftongue.gifbiggrin.giflaugh.gifcool.gifrolleyes.gifsleep.gifsmile.gifwub.gifmad.gifsad.gifunsure.gifwacko.gifblink.gifph34r.gif.

Yep B.J. you definitely did say . " USUALLY"...... Lol. B. J.

  Ha ha, oh BJ, I don't think "usually" even comes close!! Based on the length of that list, I'd say "rarely" comes a lot closer! B):D (You should have been around back when we had all of our old emoticons working. They were a lot of fun... Sigh.)

Jenn, I tried googling the toxicity of that plant, and I got nothing. Usually ( lol) if it were toxic, at least SOMETHING would come up connecting it. I found a lot of references to the plant, but none that said it had any toxicity. So I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that it might be safe.

Of course, if you test it on your birds and find out that it is in fact toxic, you should let the whole internet know, because apparently, there's no one out there who has written it yet. :P:rolleyes:

Hi I suggest that a list should be drawn up of the worlds budgie safe trees. My own list is

useless to any of our members who live in Outer Mongolia, or halfway up Kilimanjaro.

Yours B.J.rolleyes.gif

Hi Jen, I think maybe Blueberry Ash isn't the correct name. If we had its Botanicals, It might be easier to trace.

I was also wondering how many on that long list, do have edible fruits. Yours B.J.
