Posted February 27, 201213 yr I was using old carbon paper order forms my mom used for sales around where my budgie was playing. I noticed she was chewing and ripping it apart, and did pay much attention to it. I realized a few mins ago, what is was, and quickly put her back into her cage. She Has been playing with this paper for 5+ hours today, and I was wondering is this paper safe for budgies? If not, what can I use as a paper substitute so she doesn't leave droppings on the table cloth? I do live in Canada in case there is difference between paper made in Canada and Australia. Edit: the paper that is used is the type someone would use if they sold Tupperware or any thing that has the same business model. Edited February 27, 201213 yr by captzork

March 24, 201213 yr Hi Have you tried a cheap plastic tablecloth. Use it when the bird is out & any mess can be removed with a damp cloth. Yours B.J.
March 24, 201213 yr Author switched to a old towel, and ended up cutting it in half. The only reason I used them in the first place was because my mom sells Epicure Spices and had a bunch of old order forms. Now i know it is safe, I have a bunch of shredding toys i didn't have to make .
