Posted February 12, 201213 yr Hi All, One of our four young budgies "'Max" has been unwell today. He's on the floor of the cage and looks dizzy with his head moving around. We seperated him from the other budgies. He's not eating or drinking. We did a google search and found something called sungazing or twirling. Any advice on this would be appreciated, Tony.
February 12, 201213 yr I doubt he's a stargazer. You said he isnt eating or drinking. Feel his crop ....is there anything in there ? Can you feel a sharp keelbone ( keelbone runs vertically down his chest )...............if so its a serious weight loss and the actions you have described sound like a very weak and possibly dying budgie. Urgent crop feeding needed and urgent vet care. Edited February 13, 201213 yr by **KAZ**

The other budgies are happy which lifts our spirits.
